Note: Ticket sales will be offline from Friday, September 13 at 11:59pm ET to Tuesday, September 17 at 12pm ET, when tickets go on sale to the general public.

Tickets will be made available for sale to the general public and Innovator Members on Tuesday, September 17 at noon ET. 

How to Access Pre-Sale and Redeem Your Festival Pass

Pre-sale can be accessed online or in person at the Alice Tully Hall box office.

  • Online: Explore the step-by-step Pass redemption guide here. Leading up to your pre-sale date, you will receive an email with details. After exiting the Virtual Waiting Room, FLC Members and Pass holders will log into their account to access the pre-sale and begin browsing to select tickets. Please go to September 27 in the calendar to begin selecting your films.
    • Pass holders: When selecting tickets for each screening, choose the option to “Redeem NYFF Pass” ticket price type. When a ticket is added to your cart, the price type will revert to $0. If you add more tickets to your cart than your allotted Pass benefits, they will not be eligible for checkout. You may purchase additional tickets beyond your Pass benefits during your Member pre-sale window (if applicable) or beginning September 17 at noon.
  • In-Person: Visit the Alice Tully Hall box office, located at Broadway and 65th Street.
    • Hours of operation are Monday–Saturday, 10am to 6pm; Sunday, 12pm to 6pm.
    • Please note: it is standard policy that the box office agent will require the member ID number found on your digital membership card to verify your pre-sale eligibility.

Pass Holder Details

6-Film Pass

  • Six (6) tickets to be used throughout NYFF screenings of your choice; Lincoln Center venues only, max two tickets per screening per pass (excludes Nickel Boys, The Room Next Door, Blitz, Queer, and Elton John: Never Too Late)

12-Film Pass

  • Twelve (12) tickets to be used throughout NYFF screenings of your choice; Lincoln Center venues only, max two tickets per screening per pass (excludes Nickel Boys, The Room Next Door, Blitz, Queer, and Elton John: Never Too Late)

Opening Night Plus Pass

  • One (1) ticket to an Opening Night screening of Nickel Boys
  • Ten (10) tickets to be used throughout NYFF screenings of your choice; Lincoln Center venues only, max two tickets per screening per pass (excludes The Room Next Door, Blitz, Queer, Elton John: Never Too Late, and additional tickets to Nickel Boys)

Centerpiece & Closing Night Plus Pass

  • One (1) ticket to a Centerpiece screening of The Room Next Door
  • One (1) ticket to a Closing Night screening of Blitz
  • Ten (10) tickets to be used throughout NYFF screenings of your choice; Lincoln Center venues only, max two tickets per screening per pass (excludes Nickel Boys, Queer, Elton John: Never Too Late, and additional tickets to The Room Next Door and Blitz)

Premier Pass

  • One (1) ticket to an Opening Night screening of Nickel Boys
  • One (1) ticket to a Centerpiece screening of The Room Next Door
  • One (1) ticket to a Closing Night screening of Blitz
  • Thirty (30) tickets to be used throughout NYFF screenings of your choice; Lincoln Center venues only, max two tickets per screening per pass (excludes Queer, Elton John: Never Too Late, and additional tickets to Nickel Boys, The Room Next Door, and Blitz)
  • To receive VIP Hauser Lounge access at Alice Tully Hall, Premier Pass holders will be able to pick up their physical badge at the VIP Ticket Pickup desk in the Alice Tully Hall lobby starting Saturday, September 28.

All Pass holders (except 6-Film Pass holders) will also receive an automatic FLC Membership at the Innovator level starting November 1, 2024.

Bronze and Gold VIP Passes

As a VIP Pass holder, you receive concierge support from our Patron Desk. You will receive presale instructions and festival details by email. For additional information, please contact the Patron Desk at [email protected].

Log-In & Website Reminders

  • For help accessing the website or other issues on your pre-sale date, please e-mail [email protected] or call the NYFF Hotline at (212) 875-5631.
  • The NYFF Hotline will be available during weekdays for the Member and Pass holder pre-sale, September 5–13, 11am to 5pm ET.
  • We strongly suggest you log into your account a few days prior to your pre-sale date to confirm your account details. It can take 10-15 minutes for a password-reset email to arrive and FLC staff does not have access to passwords.
  • We highly recommend purchasing tickets from a desktop computer, not a mobile phone or tablet, because you will lose your place in the Virtual Waiting Room if your connection drops out. 
  • There is a 30-minute limit for your cart online. We recommend making more than one transaction if necessary so that you do not lose the tickets in your cart.
  • Please note you will be placed in a Virtual Waiting Room due to high demand—it is important that you do not navigate away from this page. 

Ticket Reminders

  • The ticketing system will require you to log into your account to access your pre-sale period.
  • There is a maximum of two (2) tickets per screening, per household. All tickets are subject to availability. No refunds or exchanges.
  • Seat Assignments: Alice Tully Hall (ATH) is a reserved seat house. Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center (EBM) and the Walter Reade Theater (WRT) are general admission houses.
  • All tickets and seating locations are subject to availability. Seat locations are automatically assigned on a best available basis. If you have a specific seating preference, tickets must be purchased in-person at the Alice Tully Hall box office.
  • Ticket delivery: You may select your delivery option during fulfillment: digital delivery (free) or hold at box office ($10 fee).
  • Digital ticket (recommended): For the fastest and most convenient ticket delivery, we suggest using the digital ticket option. Tickets will be sent to you via email within 48 hours for you to print or display on your mobile device.
  • You can also access copies of your digital tickets through your online account. After logging in at filmlinc.org, click Account in the upper left corner and then select Upcoming Events/Tickets.
  • Hold at the box office: Tickets can be picked up at the corresponding venue’s box office.
  • Please note the standard single ticket fees will be waived for Patrons only during the pre-sale period.
